First Year Volunteers: a big thanks to the following first years who were duped into helping us -
Britt, Peach, Rosie, Dennis, Britney, Young-Hee, Lee, Lise, Nick and Candice.
A healthy dose of these will also graciously be doing security duty at Harbour Centre from April 20th - 23rd. THANK YOU! A shift list will be drawn up by Stefan. A general volunteer duty list is forthcoming.
After Party: The DJ is preeeetty much set. Karen G will finalize. ChapelArts estimated cost will be around $800. We will need a group of volunteers (and some graduates) to head down there early to get the projector, drink tickets and coat check set up.
Harbour Centre:
Display Units- We only need 6 groupings instead of 8, so the 2 extras will be stored in the same place as the computers will be. Strong arms will be needed.
Also, start thinking about what will go in the empty spaces, as there are 21 of us in Commercial and 23 in Digital. Promotional Material? General program details? A collection of class snapshots? ....none of which will include Wifey McBeaty.
Avatar/Nameboards - these are to go up on the side of the display units. We were thinking of using the banners originally but these are probably too large. Instead, perhaps the avatar box from your gradpage should be used? If so, a template should be set up to the correct size.
Signage - window clingers (?) can be used as advertising along the windows of Harbour Centre. These need to be designed.
Catering: Indy will hit up a few places for catering. If anyone has any suggestions, please post them in the Comments.
Teacher Gifts: Need to start thinking about ideas for thank you gifts. Suggestions welcome.
April 24th, Family & Friends Day: will run from 12 - 4pm. Volunteers needed near the end of the day to help with clean up. Also, graduates - PLEASE DON'T RUN AWAY at 4pm, we'll need everyone's help dismantling and cleaning up.
Invitations: HAVE BEEN PRINTED! Yaaaaay!!!! They'll be sent out shortly.
Thanks to the Invite crew for their all their hard work, everyone did an amazing job.
THE FRONT!
