Our Gradshow background 'theme/show design/motif' is: CINEMA
details of what exactly this entails to be hashed out soon.
VENUE: TBA - Don is waiting to hear back regarding the use of Harbour Centre. If this does not pan out, then our Gradshow will be held on campus.
INVITATIONS: the ball is already rolling in this dept. Updates Pending. All invitations to be sent out prior to March 1st.
GRADBOOK: relevant committee members need to get together and grab the templates from Craig (also, would be a good idea to talk to him regarding layout, as he's already expressed some opinions)
AFTER-GRAD PARTY: Indy will look into Chapel Arts as a possible party location. What was also suggested is having a running gradreel of our work on display, and sending out many more invitations to this event for more exposure. Snacks and drinks and dancing to ensue.
OTHER: a raffle idea was suggested (by Indy?) If people are interested, then company's need to be approached regarding prizes.
Stefan/Mike to approach the first years for volunteers once the venue has been confirmed.
Possiblity of making buttons for the show - perhaps selling them in the cafeteria?
