I want to bring in one of the models and do a Burlesque life drawing session here. The Studio Arts space, seemed to make the most sense, for location, as it's alot bigger and brighter then squeezing into the Arbutus Building class room. Was also going to raise the rate from $5 buck to $9, but the tickets would be void for this session. This would help to pay for the model and get some more funds for the Grad Show.
I'm waiting to hear back about the finer details on the other end. When iknow, you'll know.
This would be great if it turned out to be a success. This would help us, in the funds department and help promote Dr. Sketchy's, a brilliant idea and one that i'm surprised wasn't thought up of ealier.
Lemme know wjhat you think. Please. you know where i am!
Oh, and since i'm here, Grad Show detalails...
1. Roundhouse, Yaletown is booked out for the night. Still on the search for the after party venue.
2. Our budget: $2500-$3000 for the Grad books and invitation printing
$2000-$2500 for the actual Grad show( this includes food, drink( pop and stuff), gifts for the teachers, decorations and anything extra. NOTE : if you buy anything for the Grad Show, keep the receipt for re-embursment.)
$xxxx the money we collect from life drawing.
i think that's it for now. When i know more, you will.
Happy Friday!
